Sling Crafter's Notes

This is an old style classic sling. I love the silver rivets and the broad cut of the pocket tips. This sling has a perfect pocket back and will cradle and release projectiles like a professional. If you're up for a bit more power from a 75cm draw length then this is the sling for you.

This sling sports old-school leather from India, with bright blue 3mm stays. It has a trim look, and the slick-finished leather releases projectiles beautifully.

Craftsman's Corner: Solid sling just over half a meter, not common for us to make them this short. It would be a good fit for children or adolescence.

Crafters Notes
This sling is a bridge between two worlds. I still had the tan-colored hide, the first one that I'd bought, but I was also experimenting with higher quality handles. I found these beads in craft store in Louisville, they were strung on a fishing line and called out to me. They're beautiful, a bit small but still make a good grip. The pocket is also unusually small, as I was also experimenting with smaller slings, with a very small draw, only half a meter. All of this means it is perfectly crafted for chucking golf balls, or racquetballs and the like.

Sling# Classic Slings Multiple Draw Lengths

These classic slings were made during a building binge few years ago. They are virtually identical differing only in draw length. Draw length being, the length between the pocket and the handle/trigger. This distance should be close to the distance between your closed fist and the ground for the most in-control slinging experience. I will list the draw lengths here and cross them off as they're sold so that you know what's available. I have these listed as discounted because the back of the rivets are starting to show their age a bit. Here are the available draw lengths:

Sling Crafter's Notes
This sling sports a limited glazed beaded handle, with the original slingmoore tan leather pocket. The pocket is also very trim and made for smaller projectiles as small as golf balls. Although beware slinging golf balls they will travel much farther than you imagine, be sure that, as always with slinging, you are comepletely along and that your target area is empth of people and anything else you don't want to hit.
