So you'd think after two years of slinging and three years of thought and design into the sling itself that perhaps I'd be a better slinger than your average Nepali. But no. I ran into these guys down at the river and they passed the sling around. After the briefest of here's-how-not-to-kill-anybody lesson each of them in turn slung a stone at least as far as I was slinging... Ok perhaps I slung a little bit farther, but it was not appreciable.
